We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our student-centred school in Wandsworth, southwest London. With a strong commitment to supporting students' academic and personal growth, we strive to ensure high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.

This is a two-form entry school with a Good Ofsted rating, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels a sense of belonging. Our curriculum celebrates differences, fostering a deep appreciation for various perspectives and backgrounds.

As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, while focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.

You will keep track of children's progress and occasionally report back to parents. Requirements include a qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent, experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams, a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, patience, resilience and a passion for teaching.
