Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Endoscopist to join our dynamic team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Digestive Diseases Centre, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality endoscopy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing flexible cover for the endoscopy service in Queen's Hospital and King George Hospital
  • Contributing to the development of a Centre of Excellence in North East London
  • Working with clinical teams in Gastroenterology, Colorectal, and Upper GI Surgery
  • Participating in JAG training courses and contributing to their development
Person Specification
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • CCT in Gastroenterology/attainment of CCT via 'European Community Rights'
  • Full registration with GMC
  • MSC
  • Higher research degree - MD Res/MD
  • Experience of managing postgraduate training
