About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Wayve, a world-leading company in autonomous driving technology. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge AI and machine learning algorithms for our self-driving cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement novel AI and machine learning algorithms for autonomous driving
  • Collaborate with our cross-disciplinary team to integrate AI and machine learning into our self-driving cars
  • Conduct research and development in areas such as computer vision, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code and models for our autonomous driving systems
  • Work closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless integration of AI and machine learning into our vehicles
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field such as AI, machine learning, computer science, or robotics
  • 5+ years of experience in AI research and development, with a focus on autonomous driving or related areas
  • Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python and C++
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
