Senior Research Scientist, Autonomous Driving

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced researcher to join our team at Wayve, a world-leading company in autonomous driving technology. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for advancing our AI research and development efforts, focusing on the application of deep learning and computer vision to autonomous driving.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement novel AI algorithms and models for autonomous driving, leveraging deep learning and computer vision techniques.
- Collaborate with our cross-disciplinary team to integrate AI research into our autonomous driving system, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of AI models, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing performance.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of research papers and publications, presenting our work at top-tier conferences and workshops.
- PhD in a relevant field, such as AI, computer vision, or robotics.
- 5+ years of experience in AI research and development, with a strong focus on deep learning and computer vision.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality research and development projects, with a strong publication record.
- Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch, with experience in deep learning frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
