About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Specialist Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in the Haematology Outpatient clinics at North Manchester General Hospital and Trafford Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key worker for patients with a haematological diagnosis
  • Contribute to educational sessions and MDT meetings regularly
  • Develop and implement specialist nursing practice
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in Haematology
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to articulate personal development needs
  • Demonstrates knowledge of audit/research recommendations
