About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Haematology team at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will provide expert care and support to patients with haematological conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in haematology to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Haematology team to deliver high-quality patient care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in haematology or oncology
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
