Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team at beBee Professionals in Derby. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that costs are controlled and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost estimation strategies to ensure accurate project budgets.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best possible pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that project costs are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of cost estimation and project management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
