Job Summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited seeks a skilled Nature-Based Education Lead to develop and deliver immersive outdoor learning programmes for children in Camden, North London.

About the Position

This role requires a qualified professional with experience in Forest School teaching and a passion for outdoor education. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging nature-based sessions, collaborate with colleagues, and manage outdoor resources.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £31,500, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Programme Development: Create innovative outdoor learning programmes that cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate outdoor learning into the school curriculum.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the maintenance and organization of outdoor equipment for effective session delivery.
  • Safety and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to guarantee a secure learning environment.
Essential Requirements
  • Certification: Level 3 Forest School certification (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience delivering Forest School sessions
  • Key Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and a passion for outdoor education.
