About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Deputy Director of Operations and Performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Research and Innovation (R&I) Planning and Delivery function, overseeing operational delivery, performance, and impact.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the R&I Planning and Delivery function, ensuring effective coordination and oversight of research projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the research budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of R&I strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize research opportunities, ensuring alignment with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including academia, industry, and other healthcare organizations.
