About the Role

Aristocrat Interactive is seeking a highly skilled Frontend Technical Architect to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in refining and enhancing our frontend framework and tooling, with a primary focus on maximizing game development speed and efficiency while maintaining quality and scalability across all studios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to game studios, resolving technical challenges and ensuring they do not become blocked and are able to work effectively.
  • Design technical solutions for new features and requirements, collaborating with artists and technical artists to identify areas of improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the GDK frontend framework, ensuring all features are documented and communicated effectively to Studios.
  • Work closely with product owners and producers to define new features, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with mobile web development essential.
  • Strong JavaScript & TypeScript experience along with related technologies.
  • Strong experience with NPM, Jest, Webpack and other build tools.
  • CI/CD experience essential, ideally with Gitlab CI pipelines.
  • Good understanding of web optimisation techniques.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Experience using PixiJS desirable.
  • Understanding of localisation and jurisdiction requirements desirable.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular desirable.
