The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Frontend Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our web applications. As a Frontend Architect, you will be responsible for leading front-end development efforts, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement innovative and scalable frontend architectures for complex web applications
  2. Lead the development team in defining and implementing coding standards, best practices, and development processes
  3. Collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience
  4. Develop and maintain reusable UI components and design systems to ensure code consistency and maintainability
  5. Implement real-time collaboration features and manage complex state management in web applications
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, and evaluate their suitability for project needs
  7. Mentor and guide front-end developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  8. Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
  9. Clearly communicate technical ideas and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  10. Identify and proactively address potential issues and risks, offering solutions and alternatives

Requirements

  1. 10+ years of experience in web development, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead/architect role
  2. Proven track record of developing high-quality, performant, and scalable web applications
  3. Experience with both frontend and backend development, including server-side scripting and APIs (REST, GraphQL)
  4. Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC) and complex state management solutions
  5. Strong understanding of design principles and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
  7. A keen eye for detail, meticulousness, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
  8. The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and influence others
  9. Experience working in a strict/corporate environment with defined processes and procedures
  10. Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to Have

  1. Knowledge of design systems methodologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  2. Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  3. Completed university degree in a relevant field
