Job Title: General Building Contractor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Building Contractor to lead our construction team and oversee the completion of residential projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring that all construction work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise construction workers and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Document the construction process and update project managers and homeowners on progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate construction projects.
  • Hire and manage subcontractors to ensure that they meet licensing requirements.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of construction project progress and home improvement updates.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a General Building Contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry principles, including building codes, blueprints, and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds.
Compensation:

$25+ hourly
