Job Title: Building Contractor

We're seeking a skilled Building Contractor to lead our construction team and oversee the successful completion of residential projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing project costs, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project manager to plan and execute construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality work.
  • Document the construction process, maintaining accurate records and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a general contractor or construction project manager.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation:

$25+ hourly
