Our Kitchen Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The Mill, one of our iconic pubs in Cambridge. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, working closely with our experienced chefs to deliver high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet our high standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues
  • Contribute to the success of our kitchen by suggesting improvements and ideas
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
