**Job Description:**

NOVELUS LTD is a leading provider of construction services, and we are currently seeking a Budgeting and Procurement Specialist to join our team in Stoke on Trent.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded individual to take on a key role in our project team, working closely with clients and subcontractors to manage budgets and contractual relationships.

As a Budgeting and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing commercial support to project teams
  • Maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
  • Liaising with customer representatives on commercial issues
  • Reviewing subcontractors' invoices and applications for payment
  • Attending site to check subcontractors' invoices
  • Controlling the Variation instruction process
  • Sending pricing enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers

**Estimated Salary:** £52,000 per annum (based on national average salary ranges for this position)

**Key Requirements:**

* A degree in a relevant field (e.g. quantity surveying, construction management)

* Proven experience in budgeting and procurement

* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
