About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Derby.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

You will work closely with our finance manager to provide support and assistance with tasks such as processing invoices, coding and matching invoices, and supporting with management accounts.

As an ideal candidate, you will have prior experience in finance, specifically in purchase ledger roles, and be proficient in using finance systems.

You will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £29,000, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
  2. Code and match invoices, demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
  3. Support with management accounts, including forecasting and accruals.
  4. Assist with queries and provide excellent customer service.
