About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team in EMEA, responsible for driving remediation of issues found during our audit program. This is a unique opportunity to work with multi-functional regional teams, driving them to mitigate and ultimately remediate risks from Amazon's Colocation Data Center providers.


The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Center Infrastructure and operations, Program Management, and analyzing complex data from multiple sources to form and present coherent strategies for our Global portfolio. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience reporting out progress at an SVP level, and tolerance of ambiguity are must-haves.


Key Responsibilities



  • Work with stakeholders from multiple teams to align priorities and ensure all stakeholders work towards delivering key milestones necessary for delivering data center infrastructure remediation for our customers at the right time and cost.
  • Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Analyze complex data from multiple sources to form and present coherent strategies for our Global portfolio.

Requirements



  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Detailed understanding of Data Center technologies such as Power, Cooling and Controls systems.
  • Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management, planning and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in programme delivery of large cross functional programs, ideally within an infrastructure environment.
  • Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management background.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects. Experience of data center design, construction and fit out projects a plus.
  • Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.
  • Experience of delivering projects across multiple locations in Europe, Middle East & Africa.
  • Bachelor's degree; in an engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
  • Formal certification or coursework in project management or equivalent.
