Job Title: Director of People

About the Role:

The Director of People will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce strategy that aligns with the Trust's strategic objectives and operational goals. This role will be responsible for creating and executing a plan that optimises human resources while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic People Management: Develop and implement a strategic people management plan that supports the Trust's goals and objectives.
  • Advanced Workforce Planning: Create and execute a workforce plan that aligns with the Trust's strategic objectives and operational goals.
  • Performance Management and Professional Development: Develop and implement a performance management and professional development plan that supports the growth and development of staff.
  • Human Resource Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and a proven track record of delivering successful workforce strategies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 7: The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent.
  • Undergraduate/Postgraduate Degree: A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree is essential.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
