Job Opportunity:

We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst - Insurance Pricing to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Pricing team, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth through strategic pricing decisions.

About the Role:

As our Data Analyst - Insurance Pricing, you'll be responsible for developing and reporting on effective pricing strategies that drive profitability. You'll work closely with our MI team to set up data dashboards that inform business decisions and collaborate with our Head of Technical Underwriting to draft strategic pricing plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular reporting to key stakeholders, ensuring our capacity providers and team are always in the loop
  • Collaborate with the MI team to set up data dashboards that drive our strategic goals and priorities
  • Create reports that tell a story with metrics and project status, objectives, and barriers
  • Use data analytics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our pricing
  • Develop and deliver high-quality recommendations that drive business development focus
  • Work with the Head of Technical Underwriting to draft strategic pricing plans
Your Ideal Profile:

  • Insurance industry experience (we want to hear from you if you're passionate about this space)
  • A proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data in a way that's easy to understand
  • Strong commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
  • MS Office skills (Excel is your friend)
  • A degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant industry experience
