  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to set and achieve goals related to housing, employment, and overall well-being.
  • Resource Connection: Connect clients with necessary resources and services, including housing options, financial assistance, healthcare, and social services.
  • Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive appropriate services and support.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance support networks for clients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, case progress, and other relevant documentation in accordance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in working with individuals experiencing homelessness or in a similar supportive role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Understanding: Understanding of the issues related to homelessness, including social, economic, and psychological factors.
  • Commitment: A commitment to supporting individuals in their recovery journey, with a non-judgmental and client-centered approach.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Certification: Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast-tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness: Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
