Commissioning Officer

About the role
We are seeking a Commissioning Officer to join our team in the London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth. As a Commissioning Officer, you will play a key role in shaping and monitoring preventative services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people, other adults at risk of poor/deteriorating wellbeing, and unpaid carers in our boroughs.
You will work closely with service users, voluntary sector organisations, health services, and colleagues in public health and operations to commission evidence-based prevention and wellbeing services. Your knowledge of prevention and voluntary sector provision will be essential in assisting us in this endeavour.
We are looking for someone who believes in co-producing strengths-based services with the people who are using them and has an understanding of the wider risk factors and conditions that impact on people's health and independence.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, the creative ability to provide innovative solutions, and will be extremely organised to ensure deadlines are met.
