Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering Department. As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery. This is a varied and interesting role, with no two days being the same. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, receive further training, and develop your career in this factory and company.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
Deal with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
Assist with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts

Requirements:

Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications
Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production, or Manufacturing environments
Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery
Motivated and driven to succeed
Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company

We are a large Engineering Department consisting of 18 Engineers. Our team is supported and driven, looking after a range of production machinery via planned and reactive maintenance, as well as completing project work.
