Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Kongsberg Maritime. As a key member of our Stabilisers and Naval Steering Gear UK management team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our projects, ensuring compliance with our company strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution
    • Develop and implement project execution strategies to ensure successful project delivery
    • Ensure that project execution is aligned with company objectives and strategies
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and manage risk in the bid, negotiation, and delivery phases of the project
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure successful project delivery
    • Develop and implement team management strategies to ensure effective team performance
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including sales, products, operations, and global customer support
    • Ensure that communication is clear, concise, and timely
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the marine industry
    • Proven track record of leading delivery of projects to quality, cost, and schedule
  • Education
    • Degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or project management
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
