Job Opportunity

**Role:** CoP Lawyer - Trusts & Estates (Litigious)

We are working with a full service law firm with multiple offices to bring in an experienced Court of Protection solicitor into their team based in Dudley.

**Key Responsibilities:*

• Handling deputyship applications for Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare
• Daily management of Deputy files and claiming benefits from the DWP and local authorities
• Liaising with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) regarding client fund investments
• Guidance on contested Court of Protection matters and Deprivation of Liberty claims

**Requirements:*

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant Court of Protection experience
• Strong commercial acumen and drafting skills
• Skilled in drafting, reviewing, and issuing legal documents while meeting deadlines
