About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Court of Protection solicitor to join our team at Simpson Judge Ltd. As a key member of our litigation and estates department, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal tasks related to the Court of Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputyship Applications and Management: Handle deputyship applications, manage clients' financial matters, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Caseload Oversight: Effectively oversee a personal caseload, ensuring that cases progress in a timely manner, deadlines are met, and high standards of client care and service are upheld.
  • Business Development and Engagement: Actively engage in initiatives aimed at promoting our Court of Protection services, including networking, participating in events, and connecting with prospective clients.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant Court of Protection experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of a wide range of Court of Protection and Public Guardian issues, strong commercial acumen, and drafting skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Outgoing and organized, with a structured approach to issue resolution and solution development, proactive in managing correspondence, and capable of working independently.
