About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide and supervise specialist psychological assessment and treatment for adults referred with chronic pain.

Our service is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans that address the complex needs of our clients.

You will conduct pre- and post-treatment assessments, formulate and implement plans for the treatment of people with chronic pain, and work collaboratively with psychology and non-psychology colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

As a Senior Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment for adults referred with chronic pain
  • Supervising and developing the skills of junior colleagues
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conducting pre- and post-treatment assessments

Person Specification
