About the Role

As a Delivery Driver with Pertemps, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to our local community. You will start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the parcels to your local community. Shift lengths vary between 4 – 8 hours per day.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team. You will be helpful and approachable, displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round. You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

You will need a full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address) and a maximum of 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept IN/DD/DR/CD endorsements. You will also be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.

Working with Royal Mail

Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required, you will need to be relatively fit and healthy. You will be working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support with their busy operation. What We Offer
