Job Role: Postal Delivery Worker

About the Job
Deliver parcels to the local community while representing the Royal Mail brand. Work as part of a team, sorting and gathering mail in the local delivery office, before delivering parcels to your allocated area. Shift lengths vary between 4 and 8 hours per day.

About You
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, happy to work alone or as part of a team, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. You will need to be relatively fit and healthy due to the amount of walking required. A full UK manual driving licence is required, with a maximum of 6 penalty points. A DBS security check will be completed prior to commencing work.

Responsibilities
Deliver parcels to the local community, representing the Royal Mail brand. Sort and gather mail in the local delivery office. Work as part of a team to achieve delivery targets. Maintain a smart appearance and act in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements
