Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic support worker to join our team in Wisbech. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with mental health challenges.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to young people, helping them to develop a true sense of identity and self-worth. You will work closely with the child, their family, and other professionals to ensure they receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, helping them to cope with challenging situations.
  • Collaborate with the child’s treatment plan, ensuring that their needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Record and document significant features of the child’s behaviour, including observations and insights.
  • Ensure the child’s rights are respected and their dignity is maintained at all times.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare or a related field.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practices.
  • A reference check will also be carried out.
