Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Assist with play activities and create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and develop their skills.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to children and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's care and progress.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

James Hopkins Trust is a registered charity that provides free nursing respite care to hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened young children and their families. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to children and their families, and we are seeking a Health Care Assistant who shares our values and commitment.
Requirements
- Level 2 Early Years NVQ or equivalent.
- Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a care or support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
