Job Summary

The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team in the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation. This includes scheduling and supervising the activities and functions of the warehouse staff, ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities, and maintaining compliance with the Company's Health & Safety policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective scheduling and workflow processes to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and control levels of planned and unplanned absence, and take appropriate action to ensure cover.
  • Participate in the management team to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving work methods and practices.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to enhance performance and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • PC literate in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
