At GSL Education, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting positive behavior and well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to develop and implement strategies that address specific student needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to thrive academically and personally.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior support plans.
- Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
