Are you a skilled communicator looking for a freelance opportunity to utilize your linguistic abilities?

We are recruiting freelance interpreters and translators to work with various organizations, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private sectors.

About Language Empire

We have been providing professional interpreting and translation services across the UK for over 20 years, catering to hundreds of languages and dialects. As a self-employed interpreter or translator, you will be working independently but supported by our dedicated team.

The Role

You will interpret or translate content from one language to another with 100% accuracy, facilitating communication between non-English speakers and service providers. This may involve face-to-face, telephone, or video interpretation, as well as translation services.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Be fluent in English and at least one other language
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be aged 21 or over
  • Possess formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
