Job Title: Commissioning Specialist
Location: Essex and Kent
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Specialist to join our commissioning team at Essex and Kent Police. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning services that meet the needs of our communities, ensuring value for money and effective service delivery.
About the Role:
- Commission services through formal tender processes, collaborative working, and other innovative approaches
- Work closely with stakeholders, including local authorities, voluntary sector organisations, and the private sector
- Develop and manage commissioning plans, ensuring alignment with police priorities and objectives
- Monitor and evaluate commissioned services, identifying areas for improvement and informing future commissioning decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commissioning or a related field
- Degree in a relevant subject such as business, social sciences, or law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences
