Job Title: Label Manager

About the Role:

Handle Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and adaptable individual to fill the role of Label Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing multi-artist compilations, driving digital initiatives, and managing multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Design and execute innovative marketing plans, including asset delivery, marketing timelines, and promotional campaigns.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with artists, managers, agents, pluggers, external PR agencies, distribution partners, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Campaign Timelines: Oversee and track the coordination and execution of campaign timelines, ensuring timely delivery of all necessary assets.
  • Release Administration: Manage all aspects of release administration, including reporting and support duties as required.
  • Asset Delivery: Ensure prompt delivery of all necessary assets to designated platforms.
  • Audio Channel Management: Supervise all associated audio channels.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: Multiple years of relevant label experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated extensive knowledge and expertise in the UK music industry, particularly within the realms of house and techno genres.
  • Passion for Independent Music: Genuine passion for independent music and a track record of collaborating with emerging labels and artists.
  • Established Network: A well-established network of connections in the artist, manager, label, press, and PR spheres.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency in understanding the streaming market, digital platforms, and social media.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Music Industry Acumen: Familiarity with and comprehension of music publishing, licensing, and synchronisation processes.
