Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve productivity and efficiency across the Trust.
- Provide strategic leadership for the Planning function, including the development of processes, education programs, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, directors, and clinicians across the organization to drive business development and improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with colleagues outside the Trust in ICBs, Networks, and NHS England to ensure alignment and coordination of planning and productivity efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Significant experience in a management role, including experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Advanced leadership qualities and experience leading teams.
- Broad knowledge of the NHS, including performance management regimes, NHS financial framework, and NHS operating plan.
- Clear understanding of budgeting, investment, and savings approaches in an NHS context.
- Experience of leading change through empowering people and holding them to account.
- Demonstrable commitment to ensuring that each pound of NHS funding delivers maximum patient benefit.
