EV Charger Installation Engineer

Join our team at Chartwell Recruitment and take on a challenging role as an EV Charger Installation Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining EV charging stations across the South Slough area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation: Install EV charging points at residential, commercial, and public locations, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and local regulations.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with installed charging points to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of new installations to verify proper functionality and safety.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and safety checklists.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements:
  • A fully qualified level 3 electrician
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • Hold a full UK Driving licence
  • Desirable: 2391 Inspection and testing (or equivalent), 2919 Electric vehicle charging equipment installation, experience in the Electric vehicle sector, ECS gold card or JIB equivalent
