EV Charger Installation Engineer - Slough
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EV Charger Installation Engineer to join our team in Slough. As an EV Charger Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining EV charging stations at residential, commercial, and public locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Testing: Install EV charging points, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and local regulations. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of new installations to verify proper functionality and safety.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with installed charging points to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and safety checklists.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- A fully qualified level 3 electrician
- 18th Edition qualified
- Hold a full UK Driving licence
Desirable:
- 2391 Inspection and testing (or equivalent)
- 2919 Electric vehicle charging equipment installation
- Experience in the Electric vehicle sector
- ECS gold card or JIB equivalent
