About the Role

Urban Connect is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support site teams and managers through inspections, identifying hazards and minimizing risks to create and maintain high health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality controls associated with company work activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and presentation of reports.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an HSEQ Advisory role, with a strong understanding of site inspections and audits.
  • Familiarity with the Civil Engineering and Water Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
  • CSCS Safety Professional card.
