Job Summary:

Urban Connect is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site teams and managers through inspections, identifying hazards, and minimizing risks to create, maintain, and improve health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of HSEQ activities, including inspections, audits, and training.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent as a minimum, with IOSH certification preferred.
  • CEnv or equivalent as a minimum, with associate IEMA certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in an HSEQ Advisory role, with a strong understanding of site inspections and audits.
  • Prior knowledge of Civil Engineering and Water Industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and regulations.
  • High standard of written English and excellent presentation skills.
