Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist and make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

You will work closely with our team to provide one-to-one support, group sessions, and signposting to local resources to help our service users manage their mental health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to form trusting relationships with service users, and a strong understanding of mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide one-to-one support and guidance to service users in crisis.
  • To co-produce small group and activity sessions to support the needs of service users.
  • To respond to the needs of individuals with sensitivity and modify behaviour to optimise the helping relationship.
  • To support people to manage their own healthcare and prevent further crises.
  • To signpost customers to local community resources and link them with specialist services.
About the Role

The salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, based on 35 hours per week.

This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service users.

You will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and the ability to form trusting relationships with service users.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
