SHE Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Specialist to join our team at Techniche Global Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a behavioral safety culture across our UK business, ensuring compliance with relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety management system to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and COSHH evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop mitigating action plans.
- Collaborate with line managers to ensure all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance are well-managed across all sites and in the field.
- Compile and analyze SHE statistics to provide data-driven insights for improvement.
- Develop and deliver SHE training materials and roll out programs to ensure a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop behavioral change management strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure compliance with new legislation, including the plastic tax, and implement required practices to maintain our organization's EHS, Corporate Sustainability, and Social Responsibility Policies.
- Support of cultural change and management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and broad subject matter expertise in safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Understanding of ergonomics and its impact on employee health and wellbeing.
- Process safety experience and knowledge of lean/6S tools.
- Dynamic and forward-thinking, with a commitment to using modern techniques and best practices.
