Job Title: SHE Specialist

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SHE Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a behavioral safety culture across the UK business, ensuring compliance with relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety management system to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and COSHH assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigating action plans.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance are well-managed across all sites and in the field.
  • Compile and analyze SHE statistics to provide data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver SHE training materials and roll out training programs to ensure a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop behavioral change management strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with new legislation, including the plastic tax, and implement required practices to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in safety management, risk assessment, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Knowledge of lean and 6S tools, with experience in implementing ISO 50001.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive cultural change and improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and support learning.
