Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive care plan for each assigned patient using the nursing process, ensuring safe and efficient patient care.
  • Serve as a patient advocate, fostering open communication between patients, families and the healthcare team.
  • Prioritize and participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain professional growth through continuing education, staying current with industry literature and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in Nursing.
  • Critical Care Nursing course certification.
  • Ongoing registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
  • A minimum of two years of continuous experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting.
