We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at the National Physical Laboratory. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
- Monitor and report project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to delivery.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project and Asana.
- PRINCE2/APM PMQ project management qualification or equivalent.
