Job Description

The Cardiology & Respiratory unit at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cardiac Physiologist to lead the non-invasive Cardiac diagnostic service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the day-to-day running of the diagnostic service, managing resources in line with service requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continued growth and development of the service.
  • Participate in cardiac investigations within own skill-base, and have working knowledge of all aspects of all services, including administrative duties.
Requirements
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
  • ILS or BLS certification.
  • RCCP registration (desirable).
  • BSE or equivalent.
  • Experience as an independent practitioner in cardiology investigations.
  • Experience of leading or managing clinical staff/team.
