About the Role

Amazon TA is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our EMEA transfer pricing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end development, implementation, and monitoring of transfer pricing policies, including:
    • Planning: Developing new transfer pricing policies, financial modeling, and business/asset valuations.
    • Implementation and controllership: Supporting the implementation of new transfer pricing policies, preparation and review of inter-company agreements, and monitoring transfer pricing outcomes compared to policy.
    • Compliance: Contributing to and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking, and other regulatory filings.
    • Defence: Supporting transfer pricing audits, preparing APA submissions, and managing responses.
  • Providing ad-hoc support to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy, and compliance-related activities.
  • Contributing to the development of process improvement initiatives and managing and working with outside advisors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant professional qualification.
  • Extensive tax/transfer pricing experience, ideally 7 years+.
  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national tax department.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax law.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, informal, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and partner well with people at all levels within an organization.
