A leading company in Leicester is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software systems using C++ and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement embedded software systems using C++ and Linux
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electronics engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
  • Develop and maintain software systems using FreeRTOS and Microcontrollers STM32
  • Implement communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development
Desirable Skills:
  • Xilinx, Zynq
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Experience working with sensors
