About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team at Counted Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a vital role in supporting the production of management accounting and delivering business information to key customers and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the production of management accounting reports and analyses
  • Deliver business information to key customers and stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, ensuring regulatory and statutory requirements are met
  • Support the development and maintenance of effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Identify and address issues and shortfalls to ensure high standards of customer care
Requirements
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheets and financial software
  • Working knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Currently studying AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 6 months experience in management accounts or a related field
