Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment, based in Preston. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home and attend sites on a regular basis.

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will report directly to the RDL and be responsible for providing high-quality Engineering Design services to support our company's growth and success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing cost-effective mechanical systems that meet the requirements of our clients and specifications.
  • Ensuring that all designs are compliant with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless design coordination and delivery.
  • Providing estimates and feedback to support our proposals department.
  • Developing and maintaining efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of our department.
  • Monitoring and reviewing procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring that all designs take into account environmental and sustainability considerations.
